Why give to charity?
There are so many ways you can help others from being kind to strangers in the street to volunteering in your community. It makes you feel like you are making a difference and makes the world a better place!
Donating to a charity means your money can work hard helping people in need in your community giving them support to make their lives better.
Giving also makes you feel good about yourself especially if the charity is one close to your heart. Do you know someone who has a visual impairment, or can you imagine your life if you couldn’t drive or see your loved one’s faces…or look at your mobile phone? At Lincoln and Lindsey Blind Society we know how devastating sight loss can be.
Every donation made to LLBS makes an impact and makes a positive difference to someone’s life. What if you don’t have a lot to spare? You could just skip a coffee a month and donate that regularly instead. Whatever you give, charities are always grateful for any amount you can afford.
You can set up a monthly direct debit or just make a donation via the links to Paypal or Givey below. If you are a UK Tax payer you can also add another 25p to every donation of £1 through Gift Aid.
